Sound & Silence Retreat: a journey to your authentic voice
October 10-12, 2025
Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center, 3655 S Snoddy Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401

A weekend of sacred sound, self-discovery, & vocal renewal
A Vocal Healing Immersion
This fall, we invite you into a powerful weekend of vocal awakening, where voice becomes a pathway to healing, presence, and inner transformation.
Sound & Silence blends Authentic Voicework®, expressive arts therapy, Nāda and Kundalini yoga, as well as deep somatic practices to ground you into your embodied voice — in sound, movement and energy in motion.
Through intentional vocal expression, deep intentional toning sessions, music meditations to guided imagery where we explore the abstract voice through movement and breath, we easily and naturally free ourselves from what has been holding us back, revamping the creative flow within our cells, and reveal the essence of who we are.
This unique retreat guides you to connect with your own voice as energy in motion. The practice opens obstructions held against the vibrant energy of our authentic self to move through us with positivity, affirmation, love, acceptance, flow, fun, laughter, joy, creativity, and courage. Get ready for deep leaps of courage and heart!
The voice is an extension of your body and breath, and when it flows freely, singing can move your essence to flow and be shared with the world. Using the voice as the focal point of this yogic-like practice deepens our awareness and invites wisdom to transform your actions and your life, connecting you to your authentic self.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Experience sound healing through Nāda yoga
- Cultivate a new relationship with your own voice
